Final Threshold

Execution Boundary

The Execution Boundary is not an ordinary module. It is the final threshold where a proposed action becomes real-world consequence.

This page explains the public architecture role, relationships, and boundary. It does not disclose implementation mechanisms, interfaces, credentials, or rule packages.

What it is

Threshold, not module

The Execution Boundary marks the point where governed proposed action becomes actual operational, physical, financial, legal, institutional, or infrastructure effect.

Upstream

ECS and governed permission state

The upstream position is the execution-control state immediately before action is permitted to cross into execution.

Downstream

Execution

Downstream is execution itself: the point where the world, system, institution, asset, machine, or person may be affected.

Core role

Separate proposed action from consequence

It prevents the system from confusing a possible action with an action that has authority to change reality.

Not responsible for

Not a judgment module

The Execution Boundary does not form judgment or governance. It is the final boundary those functions must govern before action occurs.
